                              RESOLUTION NO. 21669
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
                 NO. SWM-6-97, HICKORY VALLEY ROAD CULVERT
                 REPLACEMENT, TO EAST TENNESSEE GRADING, INC.,
                 FOR THEIR LOW BID IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED
                 TWENTY-ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($221,000.00).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. SWM-6-97, Hickory Valley Road Culvert
       Replacement, to East Tennessee Grading, Inc. for their low bid in 

       the amount of $221,000.00.
